The Hebrew language is a very concrete language, meaning that each word is a description of an action of a person or object. This is unlike our modern languages that are abstract words. The word “righteous” is an example of an abstract: that has no connection to something physical. The Hebrew word tsadiyq does not mean “righteous” in an abstract way, but in the action of staying on course or following the path.
